Event Description

Spend a day exploring the Puhoi area and see the top woodsmen and axemen at the Puhoi Woodchopping Carnival. It’s the largest woodchopping event in the upper North Island and is held in association with The Puhoi Hotel and Stables. Axemen will come from around the country and Australia to compete at this major annual event, so come grab a beer, a Savvy or Pinot Gris and watch the free show from 9am. Good range of pub food available on site Just down the road from the pub are the Puhoi Cheese Factory and the Puhoi Organic Distillery
