Event Description

This event coincides and is scheduled to be part of TUAC weekend club’s 25th Anniversary Celebrations. We will have a 1 hour guided tour through the Maritime Museum with the Museum's most knowledgeable guide, June Bartrom. There are many of New-Zealand's and Auckland’s maritime heritage aspects that are displayed within the Museum that will be of interest to everyone. After lunch at the Museum’s Cafe, at 1.15pm it's all aboard for 1 hour sail on the Waitemata Harbour on the original sailing kauri scow the Ted Ashby, departing at 1.30pm. This event is open to both past members and current members.
