Event Description

Choice of attending both events or either one, with an overnight stay in Omokoroa. A reasonable level of fitness is required for the walk. Saturday: The walk will take you up to the windows tunnel, transgresses out the other side and then we walk the Crown Track sighting numerous mining remnants, waterfalls and through another long tunnel. Sunday: Quarry Festival - this is held in an old quarry which has been turned into gardens with world country themes, walkways, stalls, food and music shows/bands on the agenda.
