Event Description

Meet at the end of Lawrence Road, Waihi (trail starts here) Bike the Hauraki Rail Trail along the old railway line from Waihi to the carpark at Karangahake Gorge passing the old gold mining machinery and buildings, then through the 1km tunnel, stopping for lunch at the Talisman Cafe and Crafts. Returning via the same route. Added extra: Victoria Battery Museum visit, stopping en route at Waikino.
