The Chatham’s group of islands have a unique and rich biological heritage. They are home to 20 percent of New Zealand’s threatened bird species and 14 percent of our threatened plants. Many rare and beautiful birds and plants await your discovery. In addition, you will learn of the unique Moriori culture, early European whaling and missionary ruins, tree carvings and enjoy the friendly island hospitality. Take this great opportunity!
