CHATHAM ISLANDS 29th October -5th November 2020 Enjoy a week on New Zealand’s Chatham Island. This is similar to the very popular tour done in 2018, but this time as well as the regular attractions we will also be on Chatham Island for their ‘House and Gardens…the bountiful table’ week. Other attractions include the early Moriori culture, relics from colonial settlements including the early German missionaries, whalers and fishing settlements, tree and cliff carvings, plus relics from pre human settlement. The islands are also famous for their abundant seafood including crayfish. For those of you that haven’t been to the Chatham Islands before, they are in the Pacific Ocean about 800 kilometres east of the South Island and while part of NZ, the flora and fauna are different due to its isolation. This is an 8 day (7 night) trip and includes transfers, accommodation at the Waitangi Hotel, all meals, bus transport, fishing, guided tours daily, entrances and attractions.
