Event Description

Saturday: Bike the Waikato River Trail, Stage 5 Atiamuri to Whakamaru Dam and Stage 4 Whakamaru Dam to Mangakino Lake Front. Shuttle will take you back to Horahora Road for a pot luck BBQ dinner and campfire. Sunday morning: Drive to Sanctuary Mountain and then do a self-guided walk of the Southern Enclosure. Then head off to Okoroire Hot Springs Hotel for a pub lunch. There are lots of trails to walk and close by is Mangatautari Mountain.
