SKI WEEKEND AT WHAKAPAPA
Friday 27th August – Sunday 29th August
Imagine 3 days of skiing / snowboarding / playing,
weather permitting or meet up with the Chateau group.
Carpool to National Park where we will be staying at Howard’s Lodge. When booking, please indicate if you are willing to drive your vehicle and if you can leave Friday morning or evening.
Bring: Food and things to do if weather packs up. We can eat out Saturday night or bring food for a shared meal. Bring towel/s. Sheets and blankets are provided.
Costs: This depends on your level of skiing and if you require lessons.
Allow $125.00 per day for hire of skis, boots, poles, and lift passes. If weather looks promising you can buy 3 day anytime passes and rental for $346.00 This can be used any time during 2010. Clothing can be hired at most places at extra costs.
Accommodation: Dorm $25–$33 per person, Quad $105–$120 per room, with ensuite $140–$170 per room per night. Double/twin $70–$80 per room per night.
I have tentatively booked twin rooms but these can be changed if needed.
Pay Deposit: by 31st July the cost of whatever your room requirements are. Book early to be guaranteed a place.

Friday 13th August - 7.00pm
Meet at the venue at 7.00 p.m.
How’s your aim? Come along and have pizza, beer and 2 games of bowls. If there are enough people we can split into teams
Bring: Your competitive spirit! Bowling shoes provided.
Cost: $22.00 for pizza, 1 drink and 2 games of bowling or $11.00 just for 2 games of bowls
Pay by: On the night (confirm by Thursday 12th August if you would like the pizza/bowling combo)

ICE SKATING
Paradice Ice Skating Rink Cnr Botany Road &
Ti Rakau Drive, Botany Downs
Saturday 7th August – 8.30pm (closes at 10.30pm)
Meet in the lobby at 8.15 p.m.
Have you been watching “Dancing on Ice”? Well be inspired by them and come along and try ice skating for 1 or 2 hours!
